Alcohol’s impact on sleep & delicious non-alcoholic alternatives
Many of us reach for a glass of wine to unwind and relax after a long day of work. However, what you may not realize is that alcohol has a significant impact on sleep and may actually cause more harm than good. While alcohol may initially have a sedative effect, this wears off after a few hours, leading to fragmented sleep in the second half of the night.
We are not perfect, and abstaining from alcohol 100% of the time may not be realistic. Drinking in moderation and choosing to enjoy a drink when socializing can be a better option than sipping a glass of wine before bed.
